Check the reigning MVP’s passing yards prop line (O/U 231.5 passing yards). On the year he’s averaging 233.75 yards/game in a season featuring his slowest statistical start in 15 years. A month into the season he’s developing chemistry with an almost entirely new receiving corps and will surely pick up his play. Rodgers has publicly spoken this week about wanting to open up the passing game and “air it out”. These guys are professionals and want to put on a show across the pond for an international crowd.
Rodgers has gone over 231.5 passing yards in 3 out of 4 games this season and would have been 4 for 4 if WR Christian Watson didn’t drop a wide open 75-yard touchdown on the first play of week 1. The New York Giants passing game defense has falsely inflated stats as they’ve played 4 of the worst passing offenses in the league: Chicago (32nd, dead last), Carolina (29th), Tennessee (27th), and Dallas (23rd). Expect a top ranked Green Bay defense to shut down the pitiful Giants offense and keep the ball in Aaron’s hands for most of the game. Historical trend: since he took over the starting job in Green Bay in 2008, Rodgers has averaged 266.5 yards/game. We see an easy cash on Sunday morning.
Take Aaron Rodgers OVER 231.5 passing yards!
