Raiders QB Derek Carr’s completion rate is only 61% on the year. Historically, he hovers around 65% and his last 4 years were close to 70%. This means we can expect more of his attempts to result in catches as the season progresses. Plus, he has his safety-valve slot weapon back tonight in WR Hunter Renfrow. The combo of Renfrow, Davante Adams, Darren Waller, and Mack Hollins is one of the best in the NFL. Carr is averaging 38.5 attempts/game so the opportunities are there. Line functionality matters for his pass completions prop tonight. Carr averages 23.5 completions/game in 2022. Yet, oddsmakers have his line at 25.5 tonight. They are aware he’s going to snap out of this statistical slump and will be tossing the rock all game. The Chiefs are 8-2 in their last 10 games against the Raiders so we can expect Las Vegas to be playing from behind most of the game, leading to tons of passing scenarios. Last year Carr averaged 29 completions/game in two games against KC. This year Kansas City’s defense is ranked 27th in passing yards allowed…Lock in this value play with us.
Take Derek Carr OVER 25.5 completions!
