BUFFALO BILLS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
December 1, 2022
5:15 PM PST
This Thursday night will be a great AFC East rematch of last year’s wild card playoff game. As the Patriots look to avenge the 30-point loss they will have to slow down the Bills prolific offense.
Look at Bills RB Devin Singletary. His lines currently sit at O/U 52.5 rushing yards and
O/U 11.5 receiving yards. Singletary has averaged 59.2 rushing yards/game over the last 5 games and has picked up his production as of late. So, take the over, right? Wrong. The value here is in line functionality. Oddsmakers lowered his line even after good production because
they see the tough matchup with the Patriots defense. In his last three regular season games against New England, Singletary has only rushed for 39 yds, 36 yds, and 36 yds, respectively. The Pats are ranked 9th in stopping the run and have been DOMINANT over the last 7 games. Opposing lead backs have averaged just 40 yards/game over this stretch. They just held Dalvin Cook to 1.9 yds/carry on 22 rushes last week. Singletary won’t get near this many opportunities (11.3 carries/game) and will be shut down when he does. There shouldn’t be much for open
running lanes tonight. Look for Josh Allen to be the Bills leading rusher tonight and air it out all game.
Take Devin Singletary UNDER 52.5 rushing yards!
