Lance Lynn UNDER 3.5 Hits Allowed
Tonight’s free action is coming at you hot from Phoenix, Arizona where the Diamondbacks look to complete the NLDS sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers. This would be a shock to most as Arizona was a significant series underdog. Value is found in the Dodgers starting pitcher, Lance Lynn. Currently, his hits allowed line is O/U 3.5. The public is likely to be on the over in this situation as the number appears low, but this makes our play sharper. Postseason baseball is different and a large factor in this play will be the win or go home scenario LA is in. If Lynn comes out struggling and allows several early hits & walks, we know manager Dave Roberts will have a short string. He’ll use his bullpen as much as he needs to keep runs off the board tonight. Current Dbacks hitters are just 10 for 50 (.200) combined against Lynn in their careers. Arizona ranked in the bottom half of baseball in team hits/game this season. Lynn is a savvy veteran who has pitched in many postseasons. Expect him to try and work these young hitters, luring them into some easy outs. We don’t see Roberts allowing things to get out of hand enough for this line to go over. Lock in here with us!
