Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams (-4, 49)

Playoff version of Monday Night Football coming your way!! Another division rivalry matchup between two NFC west powerhouses. It’s been a wild ride of a year for both teams. The Cardinals started off a red hot 8-1 until injuries plagued them on both sides of the ball. With both Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins out for several weeks, they went 3-5 in their last 8 games. The Rams have been a little more consistent in their play and they boast a roster of playmakers all over the field. It figures to be a high scoring affair with the O/U set at 49.5 and the Rams favored by 4 points. Kickoff is at 8:15pm Eastern time / 10:15pm Pacific time at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
When you face a team for a third time in the same season, you HAVE to take the previous two matchups into consideration. In week 4, the Cardinals dominated the Rams 37-20 behind a great performance from Kyler Murray. However, in week 14 it was a different story. Matthew Stafford went 23/30 for 287 yds and 3 TDs in their 30-23 victory. Both matchups were high-scoring and the third time around figures to be no different! Stafford has an apparent toe injury, but it has been documented that he is set to play the full game with no limitations.
Prop value in this game comes from the QB position. Matthew Stafford’s O/U on passing yards is set at 274.5. This is clearly a deflated line from a couple of his recent performances. His O/U for passing yds has not been this low in over 10 games! Stafford averages 289.9 yds/game through the air this season and has eclipsed the 274.5 yard mark in 12 out of 17 games. WithCooper Kupp’s ridiculous route-running and the fact that Stafford is finally comfortable with Odell Beckham Jr., they have a dangerous aerial attack. Even when the Rams lost to the Cardinals by 17 in week 4, Stafford still managed 280 passing yards, above the betting line for Monday’s game. Cardinals starting DB Marco Wilson is listed as questionable and could be an added attack point for the Rams. Sean McVay isn’t going to hold anything back from the playbook. Time to air it out! We are getting a steal. Take Matthew Stafford OVER 274.5 passing yards.
