Thursday Night football with Tennessee visiting Lambeau Field – what’s the best matchup??

Look no farther than this revamped Packers passing game against a struggling Titans pass defense. We like Packers WR Allen Lazard to take advantage. Rookie WR Christian Watson had his breakout game Sunday against the Cowboys with 3 TD’s and the talk all week has been about the Titans limiting his deep threats. They’ve gone so far as to wear #9 jerseys at practice to know where he is on the field. This will open things up for Green Bay’s leading wideout, Lazard. We know his opportunities will be there as he averages 7 targets/game. He’s averaged 53 yds/game over the last 5 games with his yardage prop hitting at a 60% rate. On the year he averages 59 yds/game and has been by far Aaron Rodgers most trusted target. The Titans have allowed the most catches of 20+ yards in the NFL this season and their defensive backfield is DEPLETED by injuries. Cornerbacks Lonnie Johnson, Caleb Farley, and Elijah Molden are out. Key players safety Amani Hooker and OLB Bud Dupree are also out. This doesn’t bode well for a team ranked 31st in the NFL in opponent passing yards/game (allowing 273 yds/game). All things point to one play here on a line that is simply too low – Take Allen Lazard OVER 45.5 receiving yards!
