Another week of NFL football kicks off tonight as the New Orleans Saints visit the Arizona Cardinals.

The Saints are starting veteran QB Andy Dalton for the 3rd time this season. The Red Rifle has put up 25+ points in each of his starts, but their game plan isn’t revolved around him. Check his passing yardage prop tonight. The line sits at 216.5, yet he only averages 195 yards/game this season. Important trend since he left Cincinnati in 2020 he has thrown for just 194 yards/game in 22 games – let’s take advantage here. The opportunities thru the air simply won’t be enough to get Dalton to this number tonight. New Orleans has a unique playbook featuring tons of Alvin Kamara and QB/TE Taysom Hill will get his fair share of touches. This steals statistics away from Dalton in the passing game and they will continue to do so  because it has worked. In the last two games Dalton has thrown for just 162 yards and 187 yards. Yet the Saints put up 39 and 26 points, respectively. He is in the bottom half of the league in yards/pass thrown and with an injured back from Sunday (and a short week of rest), there is now way he’s hitting 200 yards tonight. Plus, the Saints top receivers Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry are out again tonight with Chris Olave potentially playing after a concussion. The ground game will be key for NOLA tonight.
