Thursday night value can be found in the ground game for the Las Vegas Raiders! We look to RB Josh Jacobs and his prop lines. Currently, oddsmakers have them set at O/U 86.5 rushing yards and O/U 20.5 rushing yards.

With Jacobs averaging 161 rushing yds/game over his past 3 contests, we should hammer the over, right?? Absolutely NOT. Line functionality here is important. Public bettors will like the over with a lower line than recent stats, but oddsmakers place value on the under as the play here. While the Raiders have had success on the ground lately, the Rams have significantly shut down opposing teams’ rushing attack. They rank 4th in the NFL in opponent rushing yds/game. Over the past 5 games the Rams D has allowed the following to lead rushers: 37 yds, 69 yds, 52 yds, 69 yds, and 27 yds respectively. They can still dominate the trenches and will look to force Carr to air it out as he lacks weapons outside of Davante Adams. Plus, Jacobs is dealing with both calf and quadriceps injuries and carries a questionable status into tonight. Expect him to play, but there is a risk of re-injury and snap count restrictions.
