Mainz v Frankfurt

In preface, this is the final match weekend for all clubs before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar which begins in a week! Needless to say, all clubs will try to secure a victory or a positive result before international duty. 

Just like any other European League, the top 6 teams in the Bundesliga remain highly competitive. 

Frankfurt are playing quite impressively sitting 4^th in the table only trailing 5 points off juggernaut Bayern Munich (31).  Meanwhile, Mainz sits comfortably in middle of the table in 11^th – but I wouldn’t completely write them off for this match.

The last meeting between these teams saw Mainz 05 and Eintracht Frankfurt in a back-and-forth match resulting in a 2-2 Draw at MEWA Arena.

The previous 7 matches have seen a draw occur on two occasions. Mainz 05 have won on three occasions and Eintracht Frankfurt have registered two victories

Mainz played Schalke in their last game. They lost 1-0 and recorded 55% of possession in this Bundesliga match at VELTINS Arena.

Frankfurt should take care of business and win this match.  Although the ML value is enticing at +140, but this match is being played away.  If this was in Frankfurt, ML would be the bet.   These odds are certainly likely to change before Sunday’s kickoff, Frankfurt ML +140 & Frankfurt Tie No Bet -127 –  lock it in sooner than later.
