Looking for our 4th straight NBA player prop to cash tonight as we lock in on one of the league’s most storied rivalries: Lakers vs Celtics. Both teams should come into tonight relatively healthy.  We focus on Anthony Davis and his lines are as follows: O/U 21.5 points and O/U 9.5 rebounds.

Davis was out of the lineup from December 16th until his return on Wednesday against the Spurs. He played a slightly limited 26 minutes in his first game back, putting up 21 points and 12 rebounds in a win. The Lakers will only increase his minutes going forward and the timing is perfect with 2 nights of rest between games. Tonight should be a very high-scoring contest with the O/U at 233 so Los Angeles will be looking to Lebron & AD to keep pace. The line opened at 20.5 and has moved up 1 point, showing that oddsmakers are favoring heavier production tonight. In Davis’s 26 games this season, he’s scored 22+ points in 21 of them (81%). He’s averaged 27.2 PPG and 33.2 minutes/game. He’s only several minutes from his normal workload already. We loved to see him getting up 15 shots in the 26 minutes on Wednesday because production will only increase. Lastly, it should be a favorable matchup. In his one game against Boston this season on December 13th, Davis went for 37 points on 24 shot attempts. We believe he’s absolutely hitting this number tonight.
