Thursday Night Football at MetLife Stadium has us focused on the young QB matchup between Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson. Currently, the Jets are favored by one point and Zach Wilson’s lines are O/U 16.5 completions and O/U 197.5 passing yards.

The Jets QB situation

has been a roller coaster this season with injuries and subpar play. They’ve tried to see the future in Zach Wilson while giving Joe Flacco and Mike White opportunities. Yet, their defense has them in the playoff hunt. We look for a low-scoring affair with a large portion of a rushing attack tonight on both sides of the ball. The weather forecast says there is a 100% chance of rain and 30mph winds. Not ideal for an aerial attack. Wilson averages just 199 passing yds/game this season and has had miserable games with totals of 77 yds, 110 yds, 121 yds, and 155 yds. Line functionality matters. The Jaguars allow 240.7 passing yds/game. Yet, oddsmakers lower Wilson’s line because they see the weather mixed with a decent Jags D. New York has found a viable backup to the injured Breece Hall in Zonovan Knight. Expect him and Michael Carter to get the ball A LOT tonight. Wilson wouldn’t even be playing in this game if Mike White was healthy. No way he surpasses 200 yards tonight!
