Cowboys @ Titans
Nissan Stadium – Nashville, Tennessee
December 29, 2022
Line:  DAL -12.5, O/U: 39.5

Thursday Night Football figures to be a battle of the defenses. When the Cowboys face the struggling Titans, they are 12.5-point favorites and the O/U is listed at 40 points. We look to the Dallas QB Dak Prescott for player prop value. Oddsmakers have his lines at O/U 20.5 completions and O/U 235.5 passing yards.

With Tennessee boasting the 2nd ranked rushing defense and RB Tony Pollard very questionable to suit up, we expect the Cowboys to have a tougher time on the ground than usual. On the flip side, the Titans are ranked 31st in passing defense, allowing 279.6 yards/game. Key: They rank dead last in the NFL in opponent completions allowed/game at 26. On the year, Prescott averages about 22 completions/game and has had 21+ in 7 of 10 games (hitting this number 70% of the time). Throughout his career he averages 22.5 completions/game. The Cowboys still have a shot at the NFC East title so you can expect them to ball out with Dak frequently looking to Lamb, Gallup, Brown, & Schultz. The opposite holds true for Tennessee whose outcome literally doesn’t impact the winner-take-all game next week against Jacksonville, which will decide the AFC South division winner. The Titans may rest players and/or have their foot off the gas, opening the door for the Cowboys onslaught. Ride with us tonight!

Take Dak Prescott OVER 20.5 completions!
