Jimmy G’s passing yards under cashed by over 100 yards last night bringing us to 6-2 in the last 8 free plays, as Mike Breen would say: BANG! The heater continues tonight as our focus shifts back to the NBA where the Cavaliers host the Knicks in a rematch of last year’s opening round of the playoffs. While the Knicks are favored slightly in the overall game, we see that they are underdogs in the 1st quarter. This line may potentially shift as the day goes on, aka lock this one in early! The best value is in the 1st quarter line as the Knicks starters are WAY better than the Cavs at the moment. Cleveland is without starters Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland. Plus, Donovan Mitchell is a game-time decision with a hamstring injury that caused him to sit last game. If he doesn’t play, this matchup is extremely one-sided. The Knicks beat the Cavs 4-1 in the opening round of the playoffs last year and they’ve only gotten better. New York has scored the fewest 1st quarter points of any team this year but Celeveland gives up 31.3 points/1st quarter thru 3 games. With such a small sample size we look back to last year’s data. The Knicks gave up the 5th fewest 1st quarter points and were 11th in 1st quarter scoring, compared to the Cavs 25th ranked 1Q scoring. This should be even more skewed due to 3 starters potentially being out. Look for a low-scoring 1st quarter battle where the Knicks should pull ahead simply due to superior talent. Brunson & Randle in the pick n’ roll should get the job done. Happy Halloween, let’s take another play to the window -

Take New York Knicks 1Q ML!!
